The latest generation of Tata Nexon is made available with a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine and 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine, both mated with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT. The petrol and diesel engines are capable of delivering ARAI certified mileages of 17.5 kmpl and 21.1 kmpl, respectively. The Tata Nexon is also available in electric-powered models, which come with 30.2 kWh battery pack, and 40.5 kWh battery pack, and offer 312 km range and 437 km, range respectively.The Tata Nexon’s robust construction got it a 5-star G-NCAP safety rating, making it one of the safest cars in India. To maximise safety, most safety features come as standard across all variants of Nexon such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, brake assist, traction control, disc brake wiping, roll-over mitigation, ESP, hill hold assist, and others. The higher variants also offer TPMS and a rear camera.
