The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a 7-seater MUV from Indiaās largest manufacturer and is one of best-selling cars. The design of Maruti Ertiga follows a simplistic approach and the Indian MUV measures 4,395 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width, and 1,690 mm in height. The wheelbase of 2,740 mm makes Ertiga fairly spacious for 7 occupants and the premium upholstery does the rest in providing a comfortable seating for all passengers. The current generation Maruti Ertiga is powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology, which comes coupled with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Maruti Ertiga is capable of delivering a mileage of 20.51 kmpl, and it also comes in CNG-powered variants which come mated with 5-speed manual gearbox and can deliver 26.11 km/kg of mileage.For passenger safety, the Maruti Ertiga comes equipped with up to 4 airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, electronic stability program, and hill-hold assist. Moreover, the feature package of Maruti Ertiga also includes seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-speaker music system, paddle shifters, cruise control, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, and others.The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was launched in India in 2012 and was made available with both petrol and diesel engines. In 2013 Maruti added CNG-powered variants to Ertigaās line-up. The second generation Maruti Ertiga got launched in India in 2018 and then received a facelift in 2022.
