The Hyundai i10, also known as the Grand i10, is an affordable family car designed for the city with its fuel efficient engine and compact dimensions. Originally launched as the Hyundai i10 in 2007 and is currently in its third generation as the Grand i10 NIOS. The new generation Grand i10 NIOS features a more aggressive design to rival the Swift as a sporty hatchback while still being a practical every day car to drive. Engine options include a normally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired, with the 1.2-litre engine offered with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT automatic while the 1.0-litre turbo is equipped with a 5-speed manual. The Grand i10 NIOS features a dashboard inspired from its more expensive siblings, including an upright touchscreen display and a semi-digital instrument cluster to add a pemium touch to this affordable hatchback.The Grand i10 NIOS comes with dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and ABS wih EBD as standard safety features as well as rear parking camera, projector fog lamps, and rear defogger on higher variants. The Grand i10 NIOS also features automatic climate control, rear AC vent, and steering mounted controls, ensuring the essential features are provided in this affordable hatchback.The Hyundai i10 provided great value when it launched in 2007, providing a practical car. The first generation i10 also featured a fuel efficient diesel option as well as a sunroof variant. The Grand i10 launched in 2013 introducing a modern design and increasing interior space for improved practicality. The Grand i10 NIOS launched in 2019 built on the formula of the Grand i10 and introduced a sportier design along with an exciting turbo petrol engine.
