The Honda City introduced the famed VTEC petrol engine in India, quickly becoming a favourite among car enthusiasts. Now in its fifth generation, the Honda City offers one of the most fully-featured packages in its segment, with few compromises. Honda has equipped the current City with a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine, providing powerful and responsive performance while ensuring fuel efficiency of up to 18.4 kmpl (petrol) and 24.1 kmpl (diesel). Paired with these engines are a 6-speed manual transmission on both petrol and diesel, and a CVT automatic exclusively on the petrol variants.The current Honda City has a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, while offering four airbags as standard.
