Overview
Maruti Suzuki Ignis was launched in India in 2017 and remained on sale for almost nine years. The Ignis car had a small size, tall seating position and 180 mm ground clearance that set it apart from regular hatchbacks. It was also quite light and came with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, so the Ignis was easy to drive on crowded city roads. Manual and AMT options were available. Maruti Ignis received one major facelift in 2020 during its time in India.

There is good space inside the Ignis considering how small the car looks from outside. Taller passengers also get enough headroom. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is smooth and doesn't make a lot of noise during normal driving. Pickup is also good for a small hatchback. Four adults can sit comfortably. With three adults in the back, there is less space around the shoulders.
