Mahindra XEV 9e Latest Update
The Cineluxe Edition will be launched in March 2026, marking the next major update to the XEV 9e. Priced at ₹29.35 lakh ex-showroom, bookings will open on 2 March 2026, and delivery will start on or around 10 March 2026. It will be available in two exterior colours (Satin Black and Satin White), and will have an enhanced interior treatment, further enhancing the luxurious aspect of the XEV 9e. Another big development for the XEV 9e was its 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. Mahindra says the SUV scored a perfect 32/32 for adult occupant protection and 45/49 for child occupant protection, which places it among the highest-scoring vehicles tested under Bharat NCAP. That has become one of the XEV 9e’s strongest selling points, especially for buyers who want a premium EV without compromising on safety. Mahindra was also committed to expanding the number of variants available and delivering them over the course of a phased rollout through 2025, such that there are additional combinations of battery and charger available in the XEV series. This gives the XEV 9e more than just a single model, but an expanded and complete family of fully electric vehicles with broader appeal than first introduced.
