Performance
The 6-seater Platinum and Signature variants come with a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine paired with a dual-clutch transmission. In the 7-seater layout, the Executive and Prestige variants get a manual transmission, the Platinum offers a dual-clutch automatic, and the Signature comes only with the dual-clutch automatic. This engine makes a maximum of 160 PS at 5500 rpm and 253 Nm of torque.
The 1.5L U2 CRDi diesel is offered with an automatic transmission on the Platinum and Signature variants in both 6- and 7-seater layouts. The Executive and Prestige are available only with a manual transmission in the 7-seater configuration, the Platinum gets both manual and automatic options, and the Signature comes only with the automatic. This engine produces 116 PS at 4000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque.
Safety
The Alcazar comes with safety features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, high-beam assist, lane-following assist, and Smart Cruise Control with stop-and-go to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. One of the most useful features is Driver Attention Warning, which detects signs of inattention or fatigue and prompts the driver to take a break.
Dimensions
The Hyundai Alcazar has a fuel tank capacity of 50 litres and a boot space of 180 litres with the second and third rows upright, expandable to up to 580 litres when the seats are folded.
