Overview

Honda Jazz was launched as a premium hatchback in the Indian market in 2009. It enjoyed over a decade long run after finally being discontinued in 2023. It was discontinued due to declining sales and Honda shifting focus to enhancing its SUV segment of cars. With its 1.2-litre Petrol Engine and decent looks, Honda Jazz proves to be a great car for small families. It also offers enough bootspace and decent mileage. The reliability associated with the Honda brand and its strong safety credentials have maintained Jazz’s demand in the second-hand car market. More details on its features, limitations, and specifications are discussed in this review blog.

Honda Jazz Expert's Review 4.6

Unlike its counterparts, Honda Jazz is spacious and looks bigger despite being a compact hatchback. Catering to the buyers seeking premium cars, Jazz focuses on providing class-leading comfort and safety to the passengers. The 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine is smooth but does not feel all that powerful. It is tuned for smooth and relaxed driving and can be considered as a perfect family car, especially for those living in the cities. Though it is a spacious hatchback, Jazz is often criticised because of its outdated design, low ground clearance, and lack of modern features. Top-quality comfort and ample storage space and options are its strengths.

Honda Jazz User's Review 4.0

"Honda jazz is good in comfort. I have an automatic version of the Jazz CVT to give more driving pleasure and comfort in driving. It's one of the future generations, easy to ride to all categories of persons. "

~ Ismail

"Honda Jazz 1.2 i-VTEC uses a mileage of about 19 km per litre and fuel type is petrol engine displacement CC 1199. The car is really valuable and we feel comfortable during long journeys. Engine performance is so nice and smooth interior door design is well mannered. Exterior look is not much good as other hatchbacks through it is worthy for money "

~ Revanth Chittoor

"I have been using this car for the last 5 years. Amazing car with quality interiors and an excellent leg room. A perfect hatchback for a family as comfort in drive and boot space means you can travel long distances with ease. I own the Diesel model and the car still gives me a mileage of close to 18.5 km/l. Already done 1.8 lakhs kms on the vehicle and hopefully more to go. "

~ Neel Anand

"Honda Jazz, the compact premium hatchback, is available in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol engine is powered by 1.2 L i-VTEC engine and the diesel engine is powered by the 1.5 L i-DTEC engine which is also doing duty in Honda City. "

~ Nitesh Kumar

"Honda should add more features, very good ground clearance greater than 170 mm and a more powerful petrol engine. The car is undoubtedly very spacious and comes in a variety of colors. "

~ Trupti
