The CVT transmission on Honda Amaze surprises everyone with its smooth gear transitions. Through Honda Connect you can stay connected with your car through your smartphone app. This app is offered for free for the first 3 years from the date of purchase. Features such as touchscreen infotainment system and TFT screen for Digital Instrument Cluster fulfil the basic expectations of the driver. Electric single-pane sunroof is also provided in the higher variants.
Currently, Honda Amaze comes only with the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine with both automatic and manual transmission options. The 5-speed manual option with one reverse gear is available with all the variants. The CVT automatic transmission is also available from the base model to the top-spec trim.
The automatic variants with a claimed ARAI mileage of 19.46 kmpl offer a better mileage than the manual variants that offer a mileage of up to 18.65 kmpl. However, the real world mileage can be lower than the claimed figures. The engine may feel less powerful on the highways as the performance is more tuned for city driving.
The ergonomic front bucket seats of Honda Amaze are comfortable. The rear seats are spacious and come with an armrest in the centre. Automatic climate control is provided to keep the temperature inside the cabin comfortable as per your requirements. Adjustable headrests are provided for the front seats whereas the headrests for the rear passengers remain fixed.
The new Honda Amaze comes with over 26 active and passive safety features along with Honda Sense technology that is equivalent to Level 2 ADAS features. 6 airbags are offered as a standard across the variants. Essential safety features such as ABS, ESC, EBD, etc. are also included across the variants.
Amaze dimensions aren't huge but big enough to make it spacious from inside. The car offers plenty of legroom due to its long wheelbase of 2470 mm. The ground clearance of 172 mm is not huge but good enough to navigate speed breakers and potholes of medium size. A bootspace of 416 litres is provided to store your luggage conveniently during long trips.
The Level 2 ADAS features, 5-star safety ratings from Bharat NCAP, and large floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment are the top features of Honda Amaze.

" I’ve been using the Honda Amaze for over a year now, and it’s been great for daily office commutes. The CVT makes city driving effortless, and the seats are quite comfortable even on longer drives. Performance is decent, and fuel efficiency is a plus."
"The Amaze offers excellent space for a small family, and the ride quality is very smooth. It looks stylish on the outside and feels premium inside. I also love how easy it is to handle, even in heavy traffic. Great value overall."
"It’s a nice car for city use with light steering and good mileage. But on highways, the pickup feels a bit low, especially when fully loaded. Still, it’s a reliable and low-maintenance car."
"The engine is refined, the clutch is light, and gear shifts are smooth. I use it mainly for daily travel and occasional weekend drives, and it’s been very dependable. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, reliable car."
"I bought a used Amaze from Spinny and I’m really happy with the condition and comfort. It has more legroom than I expected, and the infotainment system is easy to use. It’s a smart choice for first-time buyers."
"Diesel Amaze feels stable on highways and gives great mileage. Rear seat space is good for adults, andthe AC cools quickly. Slight delay in gear shifts sometimes, but overall very dependable. "
"The suspension of this vehicle does a nice job with poor surfaces, while the engine feels quite smooth as well; however, I feel an automatic diesel engine can provide quicker acceleration on highways than this vehicle’s automatic petrol-powered car can. Still, the petrol-powered car provides a very comfortable and predictable ride around town."
"There are very good acceleration characteristics with the diesel engine, and the ride is very comfortable. There is not really anything new as far as technology inside this vehicle, but it is still a solid and reliable vehicle, nonetheless."
"I use the petrol CVT car each day, and it has been excellent for city driving. The ride is very smooth and light to steer, plus parking has not been a problem. The cabin has plenty of practicality, and the boot is capable of handling a weekend’s worth of luggage. "

Have nothing to complain about but wish the company made it a little more powerful without compromising on mileage though. "
