Overview
Skoda Rapid was launched in 2011 in the Indian market. It received a major facelift in 2016 where it got a better design, improved features, and user-friendly specifications. Over the years, Rapid has remained one of the most attractive sedans in the country. The car was discontinued in 2021 and eventually the all new Skoda Slavia replaced it in 2022. The ‘Matte’ edition of Skoda Rapid was its last model to be released for the Indian car lovers. Though discontinued now, Skoda Rapid enjoys a great demand in the pre-owned car market owing to its great design, robust build-quality, and smooth performance.

Experts rate Skoda Rapid highly for its tough build-quality, punchy riding performance, and smooth handling. They appreciate its stability even at higher speeds and decent mileage too. The interiors might feel a little outdated, especially with the hard plastics used on the dashboard. However, the overall feel and driving performance makes up for the space issue created due to limited legroom in the rear. Also, it's a good value-for-money car considering its current price point in the market. The infotainment system also feels a bit outdated, especially with the older variants that lack smart connectivity options. Overall, it’s a great car to drive but don’t expect too many advanced features in it.
