Honda Brio was launched in 2011 as a compact hatchback. The main purpose was to offer a compact car with decent features at an affordable price to the car lovers in India. Due to its small dimensions, it could be easily manoeuvred in the city traffic. As a result, it got a lot of early buyers from the tier-1, tier-2, and tier-3 cities of the country. The declining sales led to its discontinuation in 2019. Still, Honda Brio would be remembered for its iconic 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that offered a smooth yet powerful driving experience.

Honda Brio suits the urban commuters who want an easy-to-handle and practical car. The handling of Brio is smooth and the 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine offers a peppy performance. However, the rear space is not large enough to accommodate 3 passengers comfortably. Its limited bootspace is a concern, especially when planning long trips and journeys. The cabin is surprisingly spacious for this compact car and the interior and seating arrangement are well laid out. The ride quality might get hampered on uneven roads as the suspensions might feel a bit hard in these conditions. Its low ground clearance can create issues while navigating complex roads consisting of potholes and uneven speed breakers. Therefore, it is mostly seen as a car designed for city driving.

"I bought a Honda Brio 1 year back for my father who was looking for a car for Kanpur. I surveyed a lot, but finally made up my mind to purchase a Honda Brio VXMT - Red color. It has the same features as the Honda Amaze which I drive. There were some extra features in the car like double air bags, company fitted music system, ORVM and customised dash board etc. "
"I bought a Honda Brio petrol model in July 2015 from the Chandigarh showroom. I like the Honda Brio’s sporty look. It is very attractive from all sides. I chose the red colour that gives a very shiny look. Almost all friends and relatives appreciate the design, comfort, and space of this car. My driving experience with this car is very good. About car mileage; I always drive with AC and it gives me around 15 kmpl on the highway. This car is best in terms of smoothness in driving. Even with the engine on, you will not realise that the car is actually on.The interiors of my Brio are better than other honda car models. If anyone wants to buy their first car then I suggest buying a Honda Brio. "
"This is one of the best cars. Most of the time I have driven this car for a long drive. I have driven this car on highways and in traffic areas. So I have some points about this car. This is a well-designed car. It has a great & stylish look. It has a well aerodynamic design. The windshield is well designed. It has good vision. It is very stable at 130 to 140 kmph on highways. It has good stability. "
"Honda Brio is a nice and good looking car with good interior and exterior both. It is very comfortable and spacious and is very attractive looking .The outer look of the car attracts the most. The dealer of the car gives maximum satisfaction to the customer if they have any problem. Comparatively, the fuel consumption of the car is not too good. It is very comfortable to fit inside the car and it is very spacious. Overall it is a good car. Those who are interested in buying a car should prefer this car. "
"Excellent control and proper power distribution. It gives you a very cosy and complete feel when you drive this little beast. The steering is very light and superb. I actually don't have any complaints about this product; it's very elegant in its style. The space inside the car is very large so handling is very easy. Dealer service is good. Fuel consumption is very less. It has good comfort. Reliability and look-wise it is superb. "
