Honda is ready to launch two new models in India on May 22: the updated Honda City facelift and the all-new Honda ZR-V. These launches are considered vital for the company as it is expanding its lineup in the Indian market.
Honda City Facelift: What to Expect
The Honda City facelift will make some design tweaks along with feature updates. The general appearance of the sedan should stay the same, but its front and rear styling will be revised, and new alloy wheels are on the way too.
The facelift will most likely receive additional comfort and convenience features for the inside of the cabin. Meanwhile, engine options are expected to remain the same as before.
Honda ZR-V: New SUV for India
Besides the City, Honda is also expected to introduce the ZR-V SUV in India soon. This will be the highest spec model on offer in the company lineup.
The ZR-V is likely to be offered with a strong hybrid powertrain and will be brought to India as a completely-built unit (CBU). This means it will be priced at a higher range compared to locally manufactured models.
What This Launch Means
With the launch of the Honda City facelift and the Honda ZR-V, the company is adding both an updated sedan and a new SUV to its portfolio. This move will help Honda strengthen its presence across different segments in India.
More details, including prices and full specifications, will be announced at the official launch on May 22.
