MG Motor India has teased the three-row SUV MG Majestor, which will make its market debut on February 12, 2026. This is a large SUV that targets buyers seeking a premium feel with impressive road presence and modern tech. Once launched, the Majestor will be positioned above the existing MG Gloster in the company’s lineup.
Design and Look
The MG Majestor looks quite bold and butch based on the teaser images. There is a huge front grille with MG badging, split headlights with L-shaped LED daytime running lights, and bold body lines that give it an SUV-like , rugged and upmarket design. The SUV additionally seems to be fitted with big alloy wheels and chunky wheel arches, which contribute to its tough stance. A refocused design gives it a more modern and aggressive look than the older SUVs.
Size and Segment
MG claims that the Majestor will have excellent road presence in India, and proportions to match, making it one of the biggest SUVs in its class. It is said to come with three rows of seats and will target families and space-conscious buyers.
Platform and Engineering
The Majestor rides on a body-on-frame platform shared with large SUVs worldwide. It retains many of the MG Gloster’s mechanical components that are already on sale, but the exterior is completely new, and the interior is likely to receive a complete revision. This is a new SUV designed to be more premium than the Gloster.
Engine and Power
While full technical details are yet to be announced by the company, it is expected that the Majestor will use a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine and an automatic gearbox. You can expect all-wheel drive on some configurations, giving it the capability for a wider range of road conditions.
Features (Expected)
With all the modern features we have seen on newer vehicles, the Majestor will include a massive touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument console, connected car features and premium comfort features like ventilated seats and a sunroof. This car may also offer high-end safety features such as advanced driver-assistance systems and airbags for safety.
What This Means for Buyers
The Majestor is targeted towards buyers looking for a plush and spacious SUV that also needs to look strong on the road. It will rival the other big SUVs of India. The pricing, specs, and details of variants are likely to be released on February 12, 2026, when it will be officially launched.
