New Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Variants
For 2025, Maruti has updated the variants of the Grand Vitara. The key headline here is the strong-hybrid now being available in the mid-spec variant. The Grand Vitara Delta+ strong hybrid starts at Rs. 16.99 lakh, making the hybrid tech more accessible in the Grand Vitara range. This was earlier restricted to the top-spec Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants.
The AWD variant of the Grand Vitara also received a refresh in its transmission. Maruti has dropped the 5-speed manual and replaced it with the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This is expected to make the Grand Vitara AWD more appealing for urban buyers, who are looking for convenient driving with additional off-road capability.
New Features on Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
A new year brings new features. The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara now comes with six airbags as standard. This makes the Grand Vitara Sigma and Delta variants safer than before. This change also brings the Grand Vitara in line with the competition.
In addition to the added safety features, Maruti has also introduced several new convenience and design features. For 2025, the Grand Vitara will now feature 8-way powered driver’s seat, electronic parking brake on the automatic variants, and rear window sunshades, while the exterior now features a new 17-inch alloy wheel design. Maruti has also made the panoramic sunroof on the top-spec variants optional extra, and will cost Rs. 60,000 more over the non-sunroof variant.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 2025 Prices
The 2025 Grand Vitara now starts from Rs. 11.42 lakh and goes up to Rs. 20.52 lakh. The Grand Vitara and Hyryder remain the only cars in the segment to feature strong-hybrid technologies, helping them stand out from the performance-focused models of its competition.
