Mahindra BE 6

The Mahindra BE 6 is the first product from Mahindra’s sub-brand, Born Electric (BE). This Indian electric coupe SUV is an embodiment of Mahindra’s game-changing attitude. The most overt game-changing facet of the BE 6 is its radical design, which is a nice mix of sportiness, bold appeal, and modernity, and makes it look like a car from the future. Its radically designed body is strong too and has earned a full 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP safety test. On the inside, the BE 6 maintains the same futuristic character as the outside. An important thing to note here is that the BE 6 is more of a driver-centric car. This is most obvious in the interior design and explains the squarish two-spoke steering wheel, aircraft-style drive selector, roof-mounted toggle switches, and a cool-looking halo-like treatment around the driver seat that splits the front section from the middle and gives it a cockpit simulation. Mahindra XEV 9e

The elder sibling of the BE 6, Mahindra XEV 9e is the flagship electric SUV of the Indian carmaker. The XEV 9e shares the INGLO platform as well as the battery packs with the BE 6. However, the XEV 9e is significantly larger and packs more space for passengers, especially in the rear seat, making it a better offering for family ownership. While the XEV 9e does not look as bold and sporty as the BE 6, it undisputedly has a striking appeal that can hold the onlookers spellbound. As far as features are concerned, the XEV 9e shares all its features with the BE 6. With plenty of features, ample space, and extensive driving range, the XEV 9e comes in as a compelling alternative to far more expensive electric SUVs, including the BMW iX1.
