Citroën Basalt X – September 5

Citroën will expand the Basalt range with the new Basalt X trim. While mechanically unchanged, it adds cosmetic and interior upgrades, including bronze accents and refreshed upholstery. The familiar 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with around 110 hp and a mileage of about 18 km/l continues unchanged. Expected prices are in the ₹12–15 lakh range, aimed at buyers wanting a more premium version of the Basalt.

VinFast VF 7 – September 6

The VinFast VF 7 arrives on September 6 as a premium electric SUV. It will be available in two versions: a front-wheel-drive model with 204 hp and about 450 km of WLTP range, and an all-wheel-drive model producing 350 hp with 431 km of range. Both use a 70.8 kWh LFP battery. Features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, ventilated seats, and Level-2 ADAS. Pricing is expected to be between ₹25–30 lakh.

VinFast VF 6 – September 6

Launching alongside the VF 7, the VinFast VF 6 is a compact EV designed for city-focused buyers. It uses a single 204 hp motor paired with a 59.6 kWh battery, offering an estimated 480 km WLTP range. Despite being smaller, it shares many features with the VF 7, including connected tech and ADAS. With prices expected between ₹20–25 lakh, it could be one of the most affordable long-range EVs in India.

Volvo EX30 – Mid-September

Volvo’s EX30 will debut mid-September as its most affordable EV. Powered by a 69 kWh NMC battery and a rear-mounted 272 hp motor, it offers around 474 km of WLTP range. The cabin uses recycled materials and features a 12.3-inch central display, maintaining Volvo’s blend of sustainability and luxury. Expected pricing is in the ₹55–60 lakh bracket, placing it below the XC40 and C40 Recharge.
