Here’s a step-by-step guide that reveals how to transfer RC in Noida:
Step 1: Visit the Parivahan Website
The official website of transport department i.e. Parivahan Sewa offers all the services related to vehicles. So, you should visit this website to initiate the process of RC transfer.
Step 2: Choose Your State & RTO
Once you open this website, you must choose your state and RTO which will be Uttar Pradesh and RTO UP-16 respectively. After that, you will be redirected to a new page.
Step 3: Fill the Application Forms
The new page will be the RTO transfer application forms viz. Form 29 and 30. Fill these forms with all the required details. Ensure that your name, DOB, and other details are spelled and entered correctly. Any discrepancy can lead to inconvenience later and therefore, you must cross-check these forms before submitting them.
Step 4: Submit the Documents
Along with the RC transfer application, you must also submit some documents. These documents include:
- Original copy of the RC book
- Insurance certificate
- Pollution Under Control (PUC) Certificate
- Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Passport or any of your identity proofs
- Utility bill, voter id, or any of your address proof
- Passport-sized photographs (both buyers and sellers photographs are to be uploaded)
- If there was a loan on the vehicle initially, the owner must also submit the NOC issued by the financing company or bank
