The elegant mid-size sedan, Hyundai Verna has been around for over 16 years and is the strongest challenger of Honda City. The latest generation of Hyundai Verna stands apart from the rest with its enthralling fluidic design and is 4,440 mm long, 1,729 mm wide, 1,475 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. The Korean carmaker has equipped Verna with three engine options: 1.5 litre petrol engine, 1.5 litre diesel engine, and 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine. At the time, it was made available with a 1.6 litre petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine. In 2010, Verna received a facelift and got some cosmetic updates. In 2011, it again received a facelift in which the sedan got its fluidic design and the engines were replaced by a 1.4 litre petrol engine, 1.4 litre diesel engine, 1.6 litre petrol engine, and a 1.6 litre diesel engine. The next-generation Verna was launched in 2017 and got facelifted in 2020.
