Pureride Technologies Private Limited ("Pureride") provides challan services to any individual, entity, or legal person (hereinafter referred to as "You", "Your", or "User") through its website, mobile application on iOS and Android platforms, and Pureride's partner and affiliate network (collectively, the "Platform"), enabling payment of online challans and settlement of court challans including Traffic Court challans, Lok Adalat challans, and Virtual Court challans (collectively 'Services'). For online challans, Pureride directly processes payment on the relevant government portal. For court challans, Pureride may engage third parties such as external legal professionals and service vendors for challan resolution (collectively, "Service Network"). By using the Services, You hereby grant explicit consent and instruct Pureride to process payment of challan(s) specified by You through its Platform and Service Network, as Pureride deems appropriate, including appearing and representing You before traffic courts where required. In matters requiring Your personal appearance, You hereby authorise Pureride through its Service Network to appear and represent You before the relevant court or authority, and undertake to execute all documentation necessary to give effect to such representation, including a Vakalatnama in favour of the relevant member of the Service Network, as may be required by the relevant court or authority. By availing these services, You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
You hereby understand and agree that online challans may take up to 30 working days for settlement from the date of payment. Court challans, including Traffic Court, Lok Adalat, and Virtual Court challans, may take up to 90 working days for settlement from the date of payment. These timelines are only indicative and are calculated in working days only. No refund shall be issued once a challan settlement payment has been initiated. In case of any failure in the settlement of Your challan due to reasons directly attributable to Pureride, the same shall be handled in accordance with the refund process set out under Clause 3.
Any request for refund in relation to challan payments shall be raised by the User by writing to [email protected] within 30 days from the expiry of the applicable timelines set out under these terms. Upon receipt of such a request, Pureride shall evaluate the claim based on the facts, supporting documents, and inputs from the relevant Service Network or authorities. The decision of Pureride on such a refund request shall be final and binding. Where Pureride, at its sole discretion, determines that a refund is warranted, Pureride shall initiate such refund within 7 business days of such determination. The refund shall reflect in the User's account within 5 to 7 business days from the date of initiation, subject to banking and payment gateway processing timelines. In case of further delays, kindly contact your bank representative. You understand and agree that Pureride is not responsible for delays or denials in processing payments at the bank's end. Pureride shall not be liable for any delays, failures, errors, interruptions, or discrepancies caused by third-party payment gateways, banking systems, or financial institutions during the processing of payments. The User shall ensure the accuracy and completeness of payment details provided, and any loss, failure, or delay arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect payment details shall be solely the User's responsibility.
You agree and recognise the ease provided by Pureride in settlement of challans, and in consideration of the effort made to clear or settle challans, Pureride shall charge a convenience fee from You, which may be a flat fee or a variable fee depending on the type and nature of the challan, along with applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the convenience fee. You agree and consent to payment of such convenience fee, and you shall not raise any claim or dispute with respect to the convenience fee. Additionally, you agree and consent that in case your challan is settled at a lower value than your original challan amount, the balance challan amount shall be retained by Pureride as fair compensation and reward for its services, and that you shall not raise any claim or dispute with respect to such balance challan amount.
If you have submitted a challan to Pureride for settlement but subsequently chose to have it resolved through an external legal advisor, any other firm, company, or third party on your own, no refund will be issued to you, whether the challan pertains to a Traffic Court challan or an online challan.
You understand that the time it takes to reflect the final settlement status on the Traffic Department portal varies between 60 to 90 court working days in case of Traffic Court challans and 30 working days in case of online Traffic challans. Any delay in the updation of the final settlement status on the traffic department portal shall not be attributable to Pureride, and Pureride shall not be responsible for any such delays. Any dispute regarding the non-updation of challan status on the Traffic portal, you can raise a ticket on Pureride customer support at [email protected] within 30 days post the stipulated timelines.
You hereby agree and acknowledge that the timelines provided herein for settlement or payment of court and online challans are only estimates for reference purposes and are subject to court holidays, court strikes, and other factors outside the control of Pureride. While Pureride, through its Service Network, may attempt to settle or pay the challans within the stipulated timelines, Pureride does not guarantee or make any representations that the challans shall be settled or paid within the stipulated timelines.
You understand and agree that the final outcome of settlement of court challans or any subsequent action ordered by the traffic courts is outside the control and purview of Pureride and is at the sole discretion of the relevant court. You shall not hold Pureride or any Service Network engaged by Pureride responsible for any adverse action or order issued by the traffic court on the court challan.
In Lok Adalat matters, challan payment success cannot be guaranteed due to the token-based system. In such cases, as an alternative, Pureride, through its Service Network, shall process payment of challans if the challans are present in the Virtual Court.
Pureride disclaims any liability or responsibility in case the traffic challans get rejected by the Traffic Department. In such cases, any refund of the challan amount shall be subject to Clause 3.
You shall be solely responsible for any rejection by the Traffic Department in case of any variation related to the documents submitted by You to Pureride or its Service Network, and any resulting non-compliance against such pending challans.
In certain cases, retrieval or payment of challans requires OTP validation, which is sent to the mobile number registered with the RTO or Traffic Department. For online challans settled directly by Pureride on the government portal, OTP verification is mandatory. You agree and consent to the sharing of such OTP with Pureride and its Service Network for the limited purpose of challan settlement. Pureride shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or mismatch arising due to non-receipt, incorrect sharing, or delayed sharing of OTP by the User. In case of failures due to any authentication issue or the user not responding to calls of Pureride or its Service Network, Pureride reserves the right to retain the convenience fee and legal fee, if any, as fair compensation for efforts deployed by Pureride and its Service Network. In case of any mismatch regarding pending challan information and status on the Platform, Pureride shall not be liable for such mismatch.
Any liability against incorrect information reflected on the Platform and challan payment due to non-updation shall not be attributable to Pureride or its Service Network.
Pureride delivers challan payment and settlement services through its Platform and Service Network under these terms. The scope of Pureride's obligation is limited to what is expressly set out herein. Pureride shall not be liable for any act, omission, delay, or default of any Service Network engaged by Pureride that is beyond Pureride's reasonable direction.

All implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or use are disclaimed. No one is authorised to make any warranty on Pureride's behalf, and Users may not rely on any other statement of warranty.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that in connection with challan payment services, Pureride may share Your personal data, including, without limitation, your traffic challan details, phone numbers, and all required documents, with Service Network engaged by Pureride for delivery of these services, and You hereby consent to such sharing.
Pureride's Service Network will not process your challan if you are required to appear personally in Court. In such cases, Pureride shall refund the challan amount to you in accordance with Clause 3. However, the convenience fee and legal fee, if any, charged by Pureride shall be retained as compensation for the effort and resources deployed.
Challan payment shall not be processed if the challan payment amount exceeds the order amount. In such cases, any refund shall be subject to evaluation and processed, if deemed appropriate, in accordance with Clause 3.

any delay in updating the final settlement status on the traffic departmental portal; or
any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, however arising.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and notwithstanding anything contained in these terms, Pureride's aggregate liability to You in connection with any challan transaction, whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, shall not exceed the convenience fee paid by You for the specific challan transaction giving rise to the claim.
You represent and warrant that all information, documents, challan details, and vehicle particulars submitted by You in connection with the challan payment services are true, accurate, complete, and not misleading, and that you are duly authorised to submit the same.
