Hyundai has launched the facelifted Hyundai Exter at the starting price of Rs. 5.80 lakh. This is the first major update of the Hyundai Exter after its launch in July 2023. The new Exter has arrived with some cosmetic updates, while the rest of the package is pretty much the same as the pre-facelift model. Here is a closer look at the new 2026 Hyundai Exter.
2026 Hyundai Exter Facelift: Design
While the overall design of the new Exter is the same as that of the old model, there are some subtle updates. Up front, the new Exter gets a redesigned grille, which is now blacked out and has a contrasting silver trim below it. The ‘Exter’ lettering has been repositioned from the bumper to the black panel that connects the LED DRL clusters. For the lights, the Exter carries the same halogen headlamps, and the LED DRLs have the same H-design as before. Over to the side, Hyundai has protruded the wheel arches a little more to give a little more muscle to the exterior’s body, while the black cladding that covers the SUV’s bottom is the same as before. Moreover, the new Exter sits on new 15-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the Exter gets a new split spoiler, a redesigned bumper, and a new finish for the strip connecting the LED tail-lamps.
As far as exterior colour options are concerned, the new Hyundai Exter continues to be offered in Starry Night, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Titanium Black, Ranger Khaki, while Hyundai has introduced two new colours: Golden Bronze and Titanium black matte.

Moreover, the seats get a new semi-fabric beige upholstery with new textures. The driver seat now gets an individual armrest, while rear passengers now get Type-C USB ports, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now wireless via a portable adapter. Hyundai has made Driver seat height adjustment and adjustable rear headrests standard equipment across all variants, although the front headrests are still non-adjustable.
