The ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 has a slew of automakers exhibiting their cars. The popular Czech carmaker Skoda has also exhibited a bunch of its upcoming cars, including the popular Skoda Superb and Skoda Octavia. In addition to these sedans, they have displayed the recently launched Skoda Kylaq, the Skoda Elroq EV, the new Skoda Kodiaq, and more. Here is a quick look at all Skoda cars showcased at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

New Skoda Superb

Skoda Superb

As far as premium sedans are concerned, the Skoda Superb has been a popular name in India for a long time. All the same, the brand had pulled the plug on the previous-gen India-manufactured Superb because of low sales and then later re-introduced it as CBU units in limited numbers. The new-generation Skoda Superb revealed globally in the second half of 2024, is on display at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. With an all-new design inside-out, the new Skoda Superb sees many upmarket additions such as a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a panoramic sunroof, and a Level-2 ADAS safety suite. The new Skoda Superb is expected to go on sale later this year, with prices expected to start from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Skoda Octavia vRS

Skoda Octavia vRS

The latest-gen Skoda Octavia vRS debuted at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The first impressions are of a typical Skoda, thanks to the trademark butterfly grille, however, with this fourth-gen facelifted model, headlamps and bumpers have been revamped. Since it is the RS version, i.e., a sportier version of the popular Czech sedan, the Octavia gets dark treatment on the front and rear bumper, grille, and ORVMs. On the inside, it gets an all-new cabin layout with an all-black interior, some red accents on the dashboard, and red stitching on the black leatherette seats. In terms of features, the Skoda Octavia vRS packs a 13-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch digital driver’s display, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and more. While its sporty character is easily indicated by its lowered stance and aerodynamically optimised 18-inch alloy wheels, the most important factor is the 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which produces 265 PS and 370 Nm, making it the most powerful Octavia ever. With such power figures, the Octavia vRS can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr in 6.4 seconds. The latest Skoda Octavia vRS is expected to launch in India later this year with an expected starting price of Rs 45 lakh.

New Skoda Kodiaq

Skoda Kodiaq

After being unveiled globally in 2024, the new-gen Skoda Kodiaq has made its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This Skoda flagship SUV has been undergoing road tests for the past few months and is expected to launch in the first quarter of this year. In its second generation, the Skoda Kodiaq wears nearly the same attire as before, with some cosmetic changes such as sleeker headlights, revamped bumpers, and two new air intakes below the headlights adding some aggression. Interiors are where the major changes lie. The new Kodiaq gets an all-new interior layout, which feels more upmarket than before. With a layered dashboard, it gets a larger 13-inch freestanding touchscreen, while the 2-spoke steering wheel is retained. Moreover, the new Kodiaq is larger than its predecessor and offers more space with a host of upmarket features such as a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, and it also gets an optional head-up display (HUD) for the first time. For the safety equipment, the new Skoda Kodiaq offers multiple airbags, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more. While the global-spec Skoda Kodiaq offers four engine options, in India, it will come with a 2-litre turbo petrol engine making 190 PS mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic.

Skoda Elroq

Skoda Elroq

While it is not confirmed if Skoda will launch the Skoda Elroq electric SUV in India, the Czech automaker has put it on display at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, to gauge customer response. Based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB architecture, the Elroq is the first Skoda car to come with the brand’s new Modern Solid Design language. At the front, it gets a black closed-off butterfly grille flanked by four-piece LED DRLs. In overall profile, the Elroq looks like a miniaturised Skoda Kodiaq, however, it gets up to 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the Elroq electric SUV gets a layered dashboard design as seen in the newer Skoda offerings like the Skoda Superb, Skoda Octavia, and Skoda Enyaq. A key highlight is the 13-inch floating touchscreen, which the Elroq also sports an optional heads-up display, a fully digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and connected car tech. For passenger safety, the Skoda Elroq features multiple airbags and a Level-2 ADAS safety suite. Globally, the Elroq is available with three battery options: 52 kWh, 59 kWh, and 77 kWh, offering a range of 375 km, 403 km, and 581 km respectively. If the Skoda Elroq hits the Indian shores, it will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, the upcoming Hyundai Creta electric, Maruti e Vitara, and others.

Skoda Vision 7S Concept

Skoda Vision 7S concept

Skoda debuted the Vision 7S concept in 2022. This concept previewed Skoda’s “Modern Solid” design language, which has already been used with the Skoda Elroq. A 7-seater SUV based on the Vision 7S Concept is set to go into production by 2026. In addition to a modern futuristic exterior, the Vision 7S concept also shows a new look for the cabin, where the steering and central boss are oval-shaped. The interior is minimalist, devoid of buttons, and gets a large touchscreen which can be switched between landscape and portrait position, the same as what we see in BYD cars. Moreover, the concept shows individual seats for four passengers and a centre console that goes the entire length of the cabin.
