Moreover, like the previous model, the new Scorpio N is offered in both six- and seven-seat layouts.

2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift: Engine & Transmission

Like its outgoing model, the new Mahindra Scorpio N is available with two engine options. Its 2-litre turbo petrol engine produces 203 PS and 370 Nm of peak torque with a 6-speed manual gearbox; torque increases to 380 Nm with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Its 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine is available in two states of tune. In lower variants, it produces 132 PS of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. Whereas in higher variants, it produces 175 PS of power and 370 Nm of torque with a manual transmission, and 400 Nm with an automatic transmission. Like the petrol engine, this diesel engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

While the rear-wheel-drive setup is standard across variants, a few diesel variants offer Mahindra’s ‘4XPLOR’ four-wheel-drive system with shift-on-fly functionality and terrain modes for Snow, Mud & Ruts and Sand. Moreover, diesel variants also offer three drive modes: Zip, Zap, and Zoom.

Like the previous model, the new Mahindra Scorpio N is 4,662 mm long, 1,917 mm wide, 1,857 mm tall, and has a 2,750 mm long wheelbase.

The new Mahindra Scorpio N looks pretty much the same as the previous model. With the facelift, the Indian SUV retains its upright and boxy silhouette and many of its signature design elements, such as the chrome-treated six-slat grille, dual-barrel headlamps, C-shaped LED DRLs, vertically stacked tail lamps, and a dual-tone front bumper with a net-like air dam and a silver skid plate. Some other unchanged elements include squared-off wheel arches, roof rails, and side steps. All the same, the higher variants get new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the lower variants retain the same wheels as before.

The new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N is available in five colour options: Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Oceanic, Stealth Black, and Deep Forest. Of these, Galaxy Grey and Oceanic are new colour options.

The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster replaces the previous semi-digital setup, which featured analogue dials and a 7.0-inch colour MID.

To the Mahindra Scorpio N package, Mahindra has also added a panoramic sunroof that uplifts the cabin feel. Other feature additions include a 540-degree surround-view camera (a 360-degree camera with an under-bonnet camera) with a blind-view monitor, revised switchgear on the centre console, and ‘Adventure Statistics’, which displays information such as engine performance, roll and pitch, compass, altimeter, and G-force.

At the same time, the Scorpio N continues to offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ‘Adrenox’ connected car technology with Built-in Alexa, wireless phone charger, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, 6-way powered driver’s seat, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, electronic parking brake, and an auto-dimming IRVM on higher variants.

For safety equipment, the new Scorpio N packs six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, hill hold and hill descent control, driver drowsiness detection, all-wheel disc brakes, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, and a Level-2 ADAS safety suite.
