Tata has launched the Tata Altroz facelift at the starting price of Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Altroz facelift gets some significant updates in terms of design and features, while the dimensions and powertrains remain the same as before. The new Tata Altroz is available in five variants: Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S. Here is a closer look at the new 2025 Tata Altroz.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Design
While the overall shape remains the same, the face of the Tata Altroz gets many updates. It gets slim LED DRLs over new LED split headlamps. The grille is also revised and now features layered rectangles to create a 3-D effect. The redesigned bumper gets a trapezoidal air intake and vertical recesses that house fog lamps. The major updates on the side profile are the flush-fitting illuminated door handles and new 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, the new Tata Altroz features horizontal T-shaped LED tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar, which looks the same as the one on the Hyundai Venue. Moreover, the dual-tone rear bumper is sportier than the earlier one.
The new Tata Altroz will be available in five colour options – Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pristine White, Pure Grey, and Royal Blue.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Interior and Features

Like the exterior, the interior gets many updates, such as a cleaner dashboard and a two-spoke steering wheel carried over from the Tata Nexon. In terms of features, the new Tata Altroz packs a single-pane sunroof, air purifier, 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, cruise control, ambient lighting, 90-degree opening doors, automatic headlights and wipers, a 360-degree camera, and others.
For the safety equipment, the new Tata Altroz features six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, rear sensors, ESP, and others.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Engine and Transmission
As before, the new Tata Altroz comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. As far as transmission options are concerned, the petrol-powered models get a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed DCT automatic, while the CNG-powered models and diesel-powered models get a 5-speed manual transmission. With that being said, the new Tata Altroz can be expected to deliver a more refined performance, as the implementation of the BS-VII norms is to be done in the coming months, and Tata has previously exhibited their tendency to make their car more refined to meet the stricter emission norms.
