The MG Gloster is a full-sized, three-row SUV on a body-on-frame chassis, sitting high on the list of SUVs with premium cabins and capable diesel engines. This gallery is dedicated to the final lineup of the India-spec Advanced Gloster before it was replaced by the MG Majestor in 2026, and includes images of the following: exterior front, side and rear exterior profile; interior dashboard; front seats; second row of seating; third row of seating; boot space; and paint colours.

The final range included Sharp and Savvy variants along with Blackstorm, Desertstorm and Snowstorm special editions. Buyers could choose between 6- and 7-seat layouts, 2WD and 4WD configurations, and single- or twin-turbo 2.0-litre diesel engines depending on the version. Used MG Gloster cars can also be explored on Spinny.

MG Gloster Exterior Images

The MG Gloster features classic large SUV characteristics with a tall bonnet and an upright body style with an extensive grille and broad frontal area. Chrome variants and large alloy wheels with raised edges create a luxury SUV appearance for the regular models, while some limited editions have different treatments with dark and/or contrasting finishes.

It measures 4,985 mm long, 1,926 mm wide and 1,867 mm tall, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Final versions ride on 19-inch alloy wheels with 255/55 R19 tyres.

Front Profile

When viewed from the front, the Gloster shows a large multi-slat grille prominently displaying the MG emblem in the centre. There are narrow LED headlights on either side with vertical housing for fog lights and a silver trim on the lower bumper giving it added visual width.

The high bonnet and tall nose create an imposing stance. Special editions change the grille, bumper and accent colours, with Blackstorm favouring black and red detailing.

Side Profile

The side profile of the Gloster is where you can really see how big it truly is! With a 2,950 mm wheelbase, this vehicle has an elongated passenger compartment which allows for three rows of seating; large-sized entry/exit doors make it easy to access. The result is a premium SUV look with chrome window surrounds and side steps.

All final versions use 19-inch wheels, although design and finish vary by edition. The high roof, large glass area and roof rails keep the profile practical rather than sporty.

Rear Profile

At the back end of the Gloster, you will find a set of wide LED tail lamps, an upright tailgate with an overall height greater than that of the LED tail lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler. The Gloster name appears as a large, bold print between the two tail lamps, giving a distinct look to the rear of the Gloster.

Higher variants also get a fully powered tailgate with hands-free kick operation. The upright rear body helps preserve third-row headroom and creates useful luggage room even with all three rows in place.

Overall, the Gloster exterior focuses on size and presence, while the special editions add more dramatic finishes.

MG Gloster Interior Images

The interior features a premium three-row passenger cabin with leather seating surfaces and a wide horizontal dashboard featuring soft-touch materials. Depending on the layout of the second-row seating, there is either a pair of individual captain’s chairs or a single three-person bench seat.

Higher-spec versions add a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, powered seats and a 12-speaker audio system. Three-zone climate control and dedicated vents for the second and third rows help keep all passengers comfortable.

Key Highlights

  • 12.3-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system
  • 6- or 7-seat cabin configurations
  • Ventilated and massaging driver’s seat
  • Dual-pane panoramic sunroof and three-zone climate control

Dashboard & Front Seats

In the centre of the dashboard is a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen, which includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and connected-car technology. In addition to the touchscreen, there are physical controls for the most frequently used climate and vehicle settings, as well as a central console containing controls for the electronic gear shifter and drive-mode selector.

The driver’s seat offers 12-way powered adjustment along with ventilation, heating, memory and massage functions. The front passenger gets an eight-way powered seat on higher versions. Wireless charging and ambient lighting add to the premium feel.

Second Row

The six-passenger configuration has two individual captain’s chairs in the second row, which allows for a more luxurious seating arrangement and makes it easier to pass the other passengers sitting in the second row to the third row. In a seven-passenger configuration, the second row has a 60:40 split bench seat with sliding and reclining features, as well as access levers on both sides.

Roof-mounted AC vents and separate controls improve comfort for rear passengers. The long wheelbase provides generous legroom, while the high roof creates useful headroom.

Third Row

The third row has a 60:40 split-folding configuration and can be flattened when not in use. This area is better suited for small children or smaller adults on shorter trips, but with its high ceiling and large side windows, it also feels airy.

Dedicated third-row AC vents are included. In the six-seater, access is easier through the gap between the captain seats, while the seven-seater uses the folding second-row bench.

Boot Space

The MG Gloster offers around 343 litres of boot space with all three rows in use. This is enough for smaller suitcases, soft bags and everyday luggage.

Your luggage area becomes significantly larger when the third row of seating folds down, and folding down both rows of rear seating creates an even larger space for larger objects. Higher trim levels come equipped with powered liftgates, making it easier to load and unload your cargo.

Overall, the Gloster cabin combines three-row flexibility with a strong comfort and feature list.

MG Gloster Colour Options

The Gloster model range that was available at the end of production included a limited number of standard colours, while the special editions each had their own unique exterior designs.

The Deep Gold colour scheme makes the Gloster look warmer and friendlier than the others; however, both Metal Black and Metal Ash are less flashy and will appeal to more conservative buyers. The Warm White colour option also creates more contrast between the grille and window surrounds.

The special editions change more than just the paint. Blackstorm adds red accents to a dark exterior, Desertstorm mixes Deep Golden with black detailing, while Snowstorm combines a light body colour with contrasting black elements.
