Honda cars were once available in a diesel avatar as well but that has since been discontinued due to the upcoming phase 2 BS VI norms. The powerful engine allows you the freedom to overtake or drive fast should you feel like it. The CVT option is worth considering if you want a refined and stress free driving experience. Now, if you’re someone who loves to stand out on the road, the Honda Elevate has got you covered. It’s the biggest in its segment, making it a total head-turner. Those sleek LED headlights and taillights, along with the stylish dual-tone 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and flared arches, give it a muscular and attention-grabbing look. The front-end of this beast is truly impressive, with a wing-like chrome bar on top of a blacked-out grille, seamlessly integrated with the Honda logo that extends into the LED headlights.

The interior gives you a feeling of airy spaciousness thanks to its large wheelbase and the single pane sunroof. The seats are comfortably supportive while the steering wheel, climate control panel and layered textures are a straight lift from the Honda City, which is not a bad thing. The touchscreen 10.25 infotainment stands out as the focal point with its wireless connectivity options. The boot space too is best-in-class at 458 litres.

Under the hood, you’ll find a powerful 1.5-liter V-TEC engine with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission or a smooth continuously variable transmission (CVT). The interiors use soft touch materials and the wood trim is tasteful without being ostentatious. It’s got an upmarket feel to the cabin with both the front and rear seats being extremely comfortable to be in.

Engineering enhancements like using high tensile strength steel and a thicker firewall mean that the body shell is now stiffer, has greater noise insulation, with improved safety levels too. The Honda cars soak up potholes and ruts thanks to the stiffer body shell and softer suspension setup.
