2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Launched at Rs 4.69 lakh

The Indian carmaker has launched the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift at a starting price of Rs 4.69 lakh. This is the second comprehensive update of the Tiago, which has been on sale in India for more than a decade. In addition to a more attractive design, the new Tiago brings a few more features, many interior updates; however, the same engine as the earlier model. Here is a closer look at the new Tata Tiago.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift: Design

Tata has done a fine job designing the new Tiago and Tiago EV, as both look significantly more stylish than their current models.

The new Tiago get an all-new face, with a concealed gloss black grille, sleek rectangular LED headlamps with eyebrow-shaped LED daytime running lamps (DRL), and a large blacked-out air dam. Moreover, there are functional vertically oriented air ducts on either side of the bumper, and LED fog lamps with blacked-out housing. On the side, the new Tiago retains most design elements, except for the new design for the alloy wheels and black cladding on the wheel arches. At the rear, the new Tiago gets all-new tail lamps connected by a red glass bar, a revised tailgate, a new bumper, and large vertical reflectors.   

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift: Interior and Features

On the inside, the new Tata Tiago is sharper and more tasteful than the older model. A new dual-tone light grey and black interior theme replaces the all-black interior theme on the old model. Tata has given the Tiago a new dashboard, a new two-spoke steering wheel, a new free-standing digital instrument cluster, redesigned AC vents and HVAC control switches.

In terms of features, the new Tata Tiago gets 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, a wireless phone charger, rear AC vents, a 4-speaker sound system, a cooled glove box, cruise control, connected car tech, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, push-button start/stop, auto-fold ORVMs, and paddle shifters (with AMT), keyless entry, and more.

For passenger safety, the Tiago gets 6 airbags as standard, ESC, rear parking sensors, hill-hold control, tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor (new), ISOFIX child-seat anchor points, ABS with EBD, and more.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift: Engine and Transmission

The new Tata Tiago continues with the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol engine, which produces 86 PS power and 113 Nm peak torque, mated to either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. Like the previous model, the new Tiago is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit.

2026 Tata Tiago Facelift: Price and Rivals

With these prices, the new Tiago will compete with the Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and Maruti Swift.
