2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Launched at Rs 9.99 Lakh

Skoda has launched the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift at the starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This mid-life cycle update of the Czech mid-size sedan brings cosmetic and powertrain updates, along with new features. Here is a closer look at the new Skoda Slavia.

Like the outgoing Skoda Slavia, the new Skoda Slavia will compete against the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and Volkswagen Virtus.

2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift: Design & Dimensions

The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is 4,552 mm long, 1,752 mm wide, 1,507 mm tall, with a 2,651 mm wheelbase, 179 mm ground clearance, and 521-litre boot space.

While the new Skoda Slavia carries over the overall silhouette of the pre-facelift model, it has enough changes to stand out. Up front, the new Slavia gets a redesigned headlamp cluster with segmented LED DRLs, new faux carbon-fibre trim at the bottom of the reworked grille, and a sharper bumper with a latticed air dam. The bonnet is the same as before. From the side, the Slavia sits on new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and keeps the same pronounced beltline and chrome-treated door handles. At the rear, the new Slavia comes with a new trim between the tail lights with ‘SKODA’ lettering and new Skoda Kushaq-like sequential turn indicators.

The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is available in 10 exterior paint options: Arctic Silver, Cappuccino Beige, Shimla Green, Steel Grey, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Cherry Red, Deep Black, and Lava Blue. Of these, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige are new, while the others carry over from the pre-facelift model.

2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift: Interior and Features

Inside, the Skoda Slavia retains the overall interior layout, with the same dashboard design, dual-tone black-and-beige colour theme, and two-spoke steering wheel. While the touchscreen infotainment unit is floating, as in the outgoing model, it now features a larger 10.1-inch screen, replacing the older 10-inch screen. Moreover, a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster replaces the older 8-inch unit.

In terms of features, the new Skoda Slavia gets the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an AI assistant, a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, and a segment-first rear-seat massaging function. Meanwhile, the Slavia continues to offer a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, keyless entry, cruise control, and more.

Skoda has also added front parking sensors to the Slavia’s safety equipment. The rest includes 6 airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, all-wheel disc brakes, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors, and an electronic differential lock.

2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift: Engine and Transmission

The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift comes with the same engine options as before. These include a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 150 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options are the same, except the smaller 1-litre turbo petrol engine gets an 8-speed torque-converter automatic instead of the 6-speed torque-converter automatic. Meanwhile, like the outgoing model, the new Slavia offers a 6-speed manual transmission with the smaller 1-litre petrol engine and a sole 7-speed DSG automatic with the larger 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.
