The Volkswagen Golf GTI is 4,289 mm long, 1,789 mm wide, 1,471 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,627 mm. It has a ground clearance of 136 mm and offers a boot space of 380 litres.

The Sleek red detailing and a GTI badge on the grille, the aggressive honeycomb pattern on the bumper, and the 5-piece fog lamps that form an X-pattern give the hatchback a racy face. Over to the side, the key highlights are the 18-inch dual-tone alloys with red brake callipers and a clean, tidy silhouette with clean panels. Compared to the standard Golf, the Golf GTI sits lower. At the rear, the Golf GTI features wrap-around LED tail lights with smoked-out treatment, a prominent roof spoiler, dual exhaust, and a bold rear bumper.
In India, Volkswagen is offering the Golf GTI in four colour options: Moonstone Grey, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White, and Kings Red Metallic.

2025 Volkswagen Golf GTI: Engine and Transmission
The Volkswagen Golf GTI is powered by a 2-litre turbo petrol engine, which generates 265 PS power and 370 Nm torque. This engine also powers the recently launched Volkswagen Tiguan R Line. With a front-wheel-drive setup, the Golf GTI is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It also gets launch control and an electronically controlled front-axle differential lock. The Golf GTI can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr in 5.9 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 267 km/hr. Being a performance-oriented hot hatch, the Golf GTI gets some mechanical advancements such as a quicker steering rack, a stiffer suspension setup for better agility, stronger brakes, and more.
