Nissan Gravite comes with a light steering wheel which makes it easy to manoeuvre in city traffic. Its compact size also makes it easy to park in tight parking spaces. Apart from these basic advantages, the car offers some user-friendly features and specifications too. In the below sections, we will discuss these specifications in detail.
The 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine is offered across the 4 variants of Nissan Gravite. The CNG retrofitment options are also provided but they only come with a manual transmission. The petrol variants offer a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The interior of the Nissan Gravite is quite good and comfortable. However, the overall cabin feels quite narrow for both 2nd and 3rd row occupants. The 3rd row seats are best suited for kids. The good thing is that both the 2nd and 3rd row occupants get dedicated AC vents. Overall, it is a comfortable car but do not expect much in it in terms of features.
The CNG variants offer a mileage of up to 19.3 km/kg whereas the petrol variants claim a mileage of up to 19.6 km/l. However, the real-world mileage can be much lower, especially when you drive in the city. Gravite is not a car that is performance-oriented but you can expect a decent performance in the city and on the highway. Yet, it might struggle to climb steep inclines while driving in the ghats.
Nissan Gravite has not been crash tested by Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP. So, we don’t have any official safety ratings for it now. However, most of the standard safety features such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), rear parking sensors, Traction Control System (TCS), ISOFIX child seat anchors, etc. are included in its variants.
Nissan Gravite is a sub 4-metre MPV and therefore, you can expect it to be smaller than other MPVs. The 3rd row seats are comfortable only for short journeys and adults might not feel comfortable in them. The details about the dimensions of this car are further detailed below:
