The vehicle has secured a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP in terms of adult and child occupant protection, while the Global NCAP rating is pending.

In addition, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a high-end platform and safety features in the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, which can ensure maximum safety for its occupants. If you are looking for a vehicle that can provide safety along with comfort, space, and performance, it is important that you understand its safety features in detail. Maruti Suzuki Invicto NCAP Safety Rating

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto was tested under the Bharat NCAP safety test, which included frontal impact, side impact, child occupant protection, and other tests.

It scored a perfect 5-star rating for adult and child occupants, indicating that the vehicle has excellent structural integrity, making it a top choice for those seeking a premium three-row MPV. However, the Invicto’s safety rating is primarily based on the Bharat NCAP, and it has not been rated separately by the Global NCAP.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto Adult Occupant Protection Rating

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test and the side impact protection test, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV scored 14.43 out of 16 and 16 out of 16 marks, respectively. A total of 1.57 points were deducted because the driver and front passenger’s chest areas provided only adequate protection, and the driver dummy’s shin also showed moderate protection levels.

The Maruti Invicto MPV also achieved an overall Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) of 30.43 out of 32 marks. Moreover, the MPV achieved an “OK” rating for the side pole test, showing reliable protection for the vehicle occupants.

Interestingly, the Toyota Innova Hycross, which shares its platform and design with the Invicto as a badge-engineered sibling and was the first hybrid MPV to be crash tested by Bharat NCAP, achieved just a slightly higher AOP score of 30.47 out of 32.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto Child Occupant Protection Rating

The Maruti Invicto and Hycross scored the same in the child occupant test with 45 out of 49. The vehicles scored 24 out of 24 in the dynamic test and 12 out of 12 in the CRS installation test. However, they scored 9 out of 13 in the vehicle assessment part. The 18-month-old and 3-year-old child dummies were placed in rearward-facing child seats installed using ISOFIX mounts and support legs.

Although both vehicles are equipped with ISOFIX anchors as standard equipment on the rear outboard seats, they do not have an integrated child restraint system.
