Mahindra has launched the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, expanding its electric SUV line-up to four models. Available in two variants only, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV costs Rs 13.89 lakh for the base AX5 variant and Rs 14.96 lakh for the top AX7L variant. The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is based on the ICE-powered Mahindra XUV 3XO and is equipped with the battery and electric motor of the Mahindra XUV400, which it has replaced. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Dimensions & Design
The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is 3,900 mm long, 1,821 mm wide, 1,617 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. Such dimensions make the Mahindra XUV 3XO 30 mm taller than its electric counterpart.
Visually, the XUV 3XO EV is nearly identical to the ICE-powered XUV 3XO, especially the XUV 3XO RevX. Like the RevX variants of the XUV 3XO, the XUV 3XO EV features a body-coloured grille; however, the chequered pattern on the bumper of the electric version. A key detail that distinguishes the electric model from the ICE-powered one is the copper-finished elements instead of the chrome-finished ones, for example copper copper-finished slanted slats on the grille and copper finishing on XUV 3XO lettering at the back. The rest is all the same. The squared-off wheel arches with black cladding add to the rugged appeal, and the side profile features bold character lines.
In terms of colour options, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is available in Deep Forest, Everest White, Nebula Blue, Stealth Black, Tango Red, and Galaxy Grey.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Interior & Features

Like the exterior, interiors have been carried over from the ICE-powered XUV 3XO. The distinguishing elements are the bronze highlights on the centre console, twin peaks logo on the steering wheel, and around the AC vents, while the dashboard is the same one offered with the XUV 3XO.
In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, on-board navigation, all-LED lights, dual-zone climate control, automatic headlamps with rain-sensing wipers, panoramic sunroof, 7-speaker Harman Kardon System, 17-inch alloy wheels, and more. For the safety equipment, the XUV 3XO EV offers 6 airbags as standard, ESP, cruise control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, a Level-2 ADAS safety suite, and more.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Battery & Range
The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is equipped with the same battery and motor as the now-discontinued Mahindra XUV400. It is a 39.4 kWh battery, which produces 150 PS power and 310 Nm peak torque. This battery can be topped up from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes with a 50 kW DC charger. With this setup, the XUV 3XO EV claims a range of 458 km in city driving and 351 km in highway driving. The electric SUV is claimed to do a 0 to 100 km/hr dash in 8.3 seconds and comes with three drive modes: fun, fast, and fearless. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Price & Rivals
As mentioned, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is available in two variants: AX5, which costs Rs 13.89 lakh, and AX7L, which costs Rs 14.96 lakh. With these prices, the XUV 3XO EV will compete with the Tata Nexon EV. It is worth noting, these prices exclude the charger prices, and you will have to pay an additional Rs 50,000 for the 7.2 kW charger.
