Skoda has unveiled the 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift, which is set to launch in March 2026. This is the first major update of the Skoda Kushaq after its launch in June 2021. With the facelift, Skoda has heavily redesigned the Kushaq on the outside and added some much-requested features to its feature list, such as a panoramic sunroof. Here is a closer look at the new 2026 Skoda Kushaq.

2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Design and Dimensions

The new Skoda Kushaq is 4,229 mm long, 1,760 mm wide, and 1,612 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,651 mm and a ground clearance of 188 mm. The boot space now is 491 litres, which is 106 litres more than the outgoing model.

The new Skoda Kushaq follows Skoda’s latest Modern Solid design language, which consists of angular LED headlamps, eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs, and a segmented LED bar running across the black grille with chromed vertical strips. The redesigned blacked-out bumper houses a latticed air dam, below that is a ridged silver skid plate. In the sportier Monte Carlo variant, two of the strips on the grille are red in colour, and the rest of the grille is entirely blacked out. The side profile is largely the same as before, while there are new alloy wheels. At the rear, the new Skoda Kushaq feature an LED light bar with illuminated ‘SKODA’ lettering and sequential turn indicators.

Skoda will offer the facelifted Czech SUV in multiple colour options. The colour schemes – Deep Black, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Candy White, and Lava Blue have been carried forward from the outgoing model, while the carmaker has introduced three new offerings – Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey.

2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Interior and Features

On the inside, the Skoda Kushaq is more premium than before, even though the interior layout is the same as that of the outgoing model. Facilitating the new premium air are the new dual-tone black-and-beige interior theme in the Prestige variant and the crimson colour scheme in the top-of-the-line Monte Carlo variants.

In terms of features, the new 2026 Skoda Kushaq offers an all-new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front parking sensors, leatherette seats, automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, 6-way powered front seats with ventilation, a 6-speaker sound system, dual-colour ambient lighting, and more. Meanwhile, Skoda has added a coveted panoramic sunroof to Kushaq’s offerings and a segment-first massage function for the rear seats. In addition to that, Skoda has added a Google Gemini AI assistant, which allows access to news and real-time info as well as hands-free operations of the in-car functions.

For the safety equipment, the new Skoda Kushaq offers 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, rain-sensing wipers, traction control, electronic differential lock, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM), and more. All the same, the Skoda Kushaq still misses the 360-degree camera and a Level-2 ADAS safety suite. Moreover, since the new Skoda Kushaq is based on the same platform as the outgoing model, the 5-star Global NCAP safety rating stands true for the new model as well.

2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Engine and Transmission

The new Skoda Kushaq comes with the same engine offerings, which include two turbo petrol engines. A 1-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 115 PS power and 178 Nm peak torque, is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission and an all-new 8-speed torque converter automatic, which replaces the 6-speed torque converter automatic. The larger 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces 150 PS power and 250 Nm peak torque and is offered with a 7-speed DCT automatic.

2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift: Price, Launch, and Rivals.

The new 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift will launch in March and is expected to be priced at Rs 11 – 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Like the outgoing model, the new Skoda Kushaq will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Sierra, and Tata Curvv.
