Spinny

Offline

Visit the E-Challan Page

Go to the e-Challan section on the Spinny website or app. Enter your vehicle registration number to begin.

Visit the Court

If your challan is marked as a court challan, it must be settled at the judicial magistrate's court mentioned in the notice. Carry a valid ID proof like Aadhaar, a driving licence, or Voter ID.

Check your Challan

Click on ‘Check Challan’ to fetch all pending traffic challans linked to your registration number. If you're not logged in, you'll be prompted to verify via an OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Appear on the Given Date

You’ll be given a summon date to appear in court. The judge will review the case, explain the violation, and decide the final payable amount. In some cases, the fine may be negotiable.

Make Payment

By default, all pending challans are automatically selected. You can select or deselect multiple challans as needed, then click on ‘Review Payment’ at the bottom. On the next screen, click ‘Pay Now’, choose your preferred payment method; UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking - and complete the transaction securely through our payment gateway.

Make the Payment

After the hearing, you can pay the fine at the court's payment counter. Most courts accept cash, and some may offer digital payment options.

What is e-Challan in Delhi?

An e challan Delhi is a digital traffic challan or fine issued by the Delhi Traffic Police when a vehicle user violates the rules. Common violations include overspeeding, jumping red lights, illegal parking, and driving without a helmet and seatbelt. These offences are recorded electronically using traffic cameras, replacing the traditional traffic challan and paper slips and making the process faster and transparent.

Once the fine is issued, it is added to your Delhi police challan records with the details of the offence committed, challan number, fine amount, and payment deadline. Vehicle owners can do a challan check using their vehicle number on the Delhi Traffic Police website, the Parivahan portal, or the Spinny challan check tool.

A Delhi traffic challan is usually valid for 90 days. You are advised to pay the traffic e-challan, as failure to pay within the specified period may result in higher penalties, a court notice, or license suspension. .Drivers are therefore advised to check challan online regularly and clear any Delhi traffic police pending challans on time to remain compliant with traffic laws
