The Toyota Vellfire is a full-size 7-seater luxury hybrid MPV built on Toyota’s TNGA GA-K platform and designed around comfort, refinement, and premium rear-seat travel.
A 2487cc 2.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain paired with a CVT automatic transmission makes up the engine of the Vellfire. The power output of the Vellfire is 193 PS, and the Vellfire also exhibits its hybrid system to have a very smooth and comfort-oriented ride.
The Vellfire returns an official fuel-efficiency figure of about 19.28 kmpl. Performance is tuned more for smoothness and quiet progress than outright aggression, which suits its luxury MPV role very well.
Key cabin features include captain seats with ottoman support, seat massage function in the second row, two sunroofs, memory foam leather seats, ambient lighting, an IOS charging pad, and a 14-inch touchscreen with 15 JBL speakers creating an entertainment centre in the cabin.
The new Vellfire will include several safety features as part of the Toyota Safety Sense Package; they will include Pre-Collision Safety, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Trace Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Vehicle Stability Control, and 6 airbags.
The Vellfire measures 5005 mm in length, 1850 mm in width, 1950 mm in height, and rides on a 3000 mm wheelbase. It has a 60-litre fuel tank and a 5.9-metre turning radius.
