Essentially, the Tata Aeris is the facelifted model of the outgoing Tata Tigor. Like the outgoing Tata Tigor, the Tata Aeris is the compact sedan version of the Tata Tiago. As a result, the Aeris shares most design elements, interiors, features, and mechanicals with the Tata Tiago. Here is a closer look at the Tata Aeris.

2026 Tata Aeris: Price, Variants, & Rivals

Tata Aeris Variant

1.2-litre petrol engine (MT)

CNG (MT)

Smart

Rs. 5.29 lakh

Rs. 6.29 lakh

Pure

Rs. 6.14 lakh

Rs. 7.14 lakh

Pure+

Rs. 6.74 lakh

Rs. 7.74 lakh

Creative

Rs. 7.49 lakh

Rs. 8.49 lakh

Accomplished

Rs. 8.19 lakh

Rs. 9.19 lakh

The Tata Aeris is available in five variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Creative, and Accomplished. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT. Like before, the engine is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. In profile, the Aeris continues with the notch-back roofline, and gets new 15-inch alloy wheels, ‘Aeris’ badging on the bottom of the front doors, a chromed window line and door handles, and slim black cladding on the wheel arches. At the rear, the Aeris features slip wraparound LED tail lamps connected by a red strip, and a slimmer rear bumper with a centre-located reverse parking light.

The Tata Aeris is available in six exterior colour options: Nitro Crimson, Pure Grey, Dandeli Drizzle, Pristine White, Daytona Grey, and Dune Glow. The centre console matches the Tiago’s, with rotary dials for climate control, a wireless charger, a rotary dial for gear shifting (automatic), and a central armrest. Rear passengers get dedicated AC vents and a centre armrest with cup holders.

In terms of features, the Tata Aeris continues with the same package, with a few new additions. New features include a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, leatherette seat upholstery, and a dashcam recorder function, which uses the surround view cameras as a dashcam. Other features include automatic climate control, cruise control, power-adjustable and auto-folding ORVMs, a height-adjustable driver seat, an auto-dimming IRVM, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, and drive modes.

For safety, the Tata Aeris offers 6 airbags as standard across all variants. Other standard safety features include three-point seatbelts with reminders for all occupants, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Higher variants also offer electronic stability control, rain-sensing wipers, hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, dashcam, rollover mitigation, and a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor.

Tata Motors has launched the facelifted Tata Tigor, Tata Aeris.
