The 2026 Brezza comes with naturally aspirated petrol, turbo-petrol, and CNG options. The Venue offers naturally aspirated petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel engines.

Their claimed mileage figures appear close, but their real-world efficiency varies considerably across engines and transmissions. It is also slightly ahead of the Venue turbo DCT by 0.17 km/l in terms of the automatic version. However, they are not the same. While the Brezza has a 1.5-litre NA engine with a torque converter automatic, the Venue has a 1.0-litre turbo engine and a DCT gearbox.

The Venue diesel manual claims 20.99 km/l, placing it close to the Brezza petrol manual. Its diesel automatic drops to 17.90 km/l because a torque-converter automatic adds weight and creates extra energy losses. In running-cost terms, however, diesel remains cheaper per kilometre than petrol at these figures.

Also Read: How to Increase Hyundai Venue Mileage

Maruti Brezza vs Hyundai Venue: Real World Fuel-Efficiency

The following numbers are practical limits collected by a road test and owner report. Its 83 PS output is adequate for regular city driving, but additional passengers, inclines, or hurried overtakes require the engine to work harder. Fast acceleration increases turbo use and thus raises fuel consumption.

The new Brezza turbo has produced varied early results. Some drivers have recorded 12–14 km/l in city conditions, while heavier traffic has returned around 10–12 km/l. Early highway results range from approximately 13–17 km/l. Its naturally aspirated petrol and automatic versions are generally more economical than the comparable Venue versions, while CNG provides the lowest running cost. The Venue turbo manual can be slightly more efficient than the Brezza turbo in real use, and its diesel manual is better suited to frequent highway driving. For buyers focused entirely on fuel costs, the Brezza CNG wins. For long-distance driving without frequent CNG stops, the Venue diesel manual is the more practical choice.

Related Blogs:
Maruti Wagon R vs Tata Tiago: Real World Mileage Comparison
Tata Safari vs Mahindra XUV700: Real World Mileage Comparison
Maruti Dzire vs Honda Amaze: Real World Mileage Comparison

FAQs About Maruti Brezza vs Hyundai Venue Mileage

Q.
