Bharat NCAP, or BNCAP, is the official crash-testing program that evaluates vehicles sold in India through stringent crash tests. This midsize SUV earned a 5-star rating across all variants. It scored 30.49 for Adult Occupant Protection and 45.00 for Child Occupant Protection. Among its safety features, 6 airbags, ESP, ABS, tyre-pressure monitoring system, and traction control are notable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hyundai Venue<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Both the HX2 diesel-manual and HX10 diesel-automatic variants of this subcompact crossover SUV have been tested by BNCAP. However, the model has received a 5-star rating for all its variants, along with the N Line version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hyundai Venue scored 31.15 for Adult Occupant Protection and 44.46 for Child Occupant Protection. The safety features of this model include 6 airbags, TPMS (tyre-pressure monitoring system), hill-start assist, rear parking sensors, 3-point seatbelts with reminders for all seats, and standard ISOFIX child-seat anchorages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kia Seltos<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Seltos, the Kia Seltos is the second Kia car to receive a 5-star safety rating in a crash test by Bharat NCAP. It has scored 31.70 for Adult Occupant Protection and 45 for Child Occupant Protection. Although only the GTX and diesel-powered HTE (O) variants have undergone testing, the rating applies to all Kia Seltos variants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The safety features of Seltos include TPMS, 6 airbags, disc brakes on all the 4 wheels, rear parking camera with sensors, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, hill-descent control and hill-start, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Sierra<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>It is one of the latest Tata models to have been tested by Bharat NCAP. It has received a 5-star safety rating and scored 31.4 and 44.3 for Adult and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. The test has been performed on the Adventure+ and Accomplished+ diesel variants, but the 5-star rating applies to all variants. The standard safety features of this model include 6 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, rear parking sensors, traction control, EBD, ABS, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>VinFast VF7<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This model also receives a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCPA, with scores of 28.54 in Adult Occupant Protection and 45.25 in Child Occupant Protection. Only the VF7 Sky and Wind variants were tested, but the 5-star rating applies to all the VinFast VF7 variants. Among its safety features are ISOFIX anchors, 7 airbags, and ESC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>VinFast VF6<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This model also received a 5-star rating from BNCAP and scored 27.13 and 44.42 for Adult and Child Occupant Protection. The crash test was performed on VF6-Wind, Earth, and Sky. This model comes with safety features like 7 airbags, 3-point seat belts with passenger reminders, a driver knee airbag, ISOFIX anchors, rear outboard seats, and ESC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Punch<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tata Punch received a 5-star safety rating in both Adult and Child Occupant Protection with scores of 30.58 and 45, respectively. The safety test was performed on the Punch Accomplish CNG MT and the Punch Pure+ CNG AMT, but the 5-star rating applies to all variants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The safety features of Tata Punch include ESP, 6 airbags, rear parking sensors, hill-hold and hill-descent control, auto headlamps, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, and rain-sensing wipers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maruti Suzuki e Vitara<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara received a 5-star rating, with scores of 31.49 and 43 for Adult and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. The rating applies to the full range, and Bharat NCAP evaluated the top-spec Alpha model with a 61kWh battery pack.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven airbags, a tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a Level 2 ADAS suite with lane-keep assistance, adaptive cruise control, and AEB, rear disc brakes, ISOFIX mounts, and a 360-degree camera are among the safety features of the e-Vitara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"9\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Honda Amaze<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Bharat NCAP has rated the third-gen Honda Amaze with a 5-star safety rating for AOP and a 4-star rating for COP. It has scored 28.33 and 40.81 for Adult and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. The safety features of this model include ISOFIX child-seat anchors, ABS, 6 airbags, ESC, seat belt reminders, and rear parking sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"10\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Citroen Aircross<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The five- and seven-seat Citroen Aircross received 5 stars in AOP and 4 stars in COP. Notably, the 1.2-litre petrol and turbo-petrol versions of the Aircross 5-seat version are eligible for the AOP and COP crash-safety test ratings. The Aircross scored 40 on the COP and 27.05 on the AOP.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The standard safety features of this model include six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, electronic stability control, TPMS, and hill-hold assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"11\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maruti Suzuki Invicto<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Like other models, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spinny.com\/blog\/maruti-suzuki-invicto-scores-5-star-rating-in-bharat-ncap-safety-test\/\">Maruti Invicto <\/a>MPV also earned a 5-star safety rating from the BNCAP. This MPV scored 30.43 for Adult Occupant Protection and 44.90 for Child Occupant Protection. All the variants of this model are eligible for the 5-star safety rating. Among its safety features are ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, and rear disc brakes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the top variant of this model, Invicto Alpha+, includes TPMS, a 360-degree camera, an anti-theft security system, and a rear defogger as safety features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"12\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Altroz<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tata Altroz received a 5-star rating in both adult and child protection. This premium hatchback from Tata scored 29.65 and 44.90 for Adult and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. All variants of the Tata Altroz are eligible for a 5-star safety rating. The safety features of its base variant include ABS, 6 airbags, ESC, and 3-point seat belts for passengers. However, the higher variants include a blind-spot monitor, 360-degree camera, and TPMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"13\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maruti Suzuki Victoris<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This compact SUV receives a strong rating from Bharat NCAP for its crash performance. It has a 5-star rating for both AOP and COP with scores of 31.66 and 43, respectively. It includes good frontal and side-barrier protection. The standard safety features of this model include 6 airbags, ISOFIX, ESC, 3-point belts with reminders, and Level 2 ADAS in the higher variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"14\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Toyota Innova Hycross<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bharat NCAP awarded a 5-star rating to all variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross after testing its petrol and hybrid models. It scored 30.47 and 45 for AOP and COP, respectively. The standard safety features of this model include ESC, 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts with reminders for all passengers, and ISOFIX anchors. Besides, the top variants also include an ADAS suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"15\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Harrier EV<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This midsize electric SUV received a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP for its occupant protection and strong structural integrity. It offers decent frontal and side impact protection, a stable body shell, AOP of 32, and COP of 45. The standard safety features of this model include 6 airbags (on selected variants, 7 airbags), ISOFIX, ESC, 3-point belts with reminders, and ADAS for higher variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"16\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maruti Suzuki Dzire<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the first sedan that has been tested by the Bharat NCAP, receiving a 5-star safety rating. This compact sedan scored 29.46 and 41.57 for Adult and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. The base variant of this model, LXI, was tested by the BNCAP and includes safety features such as 6 airbags, reverse parking sensors, ESC, overspeed alerts, and hill-hold assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"17\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maruti Suzuki Baleno<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>In BNCAP&#8217;s crash tests, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spinny.com\/blog\/maruti-suzuki-baleno-scores-4-stars-in-bharat-ncap-safety-test\/\">Maruti Baleno<\/a> received 4 stars; this rating is applicable to the corresponding MT and AMT versions of the Zeta and Alpha variants. The Zeta and Alpha variants received an AOP score of 26.52 out of 32 points, and the COP score was 34.81 for all variants.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, ESC, hill-hold assist, and three-point seat belts with reminders for every passenger are among the Baleno&#8217;s standard safety features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"18\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Nexon EV<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The now-discontinued 40.5 kWh and 30kWh variants of the Tata Nexon EV received a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating in May 2024. It scored 29.86 and 44.95 for adult and child occupant protection, respectively.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current range-topping 45kWh models of the Nexon EV were also evaluated by BNCAP in April 2025; they received the same AOP and COP ratings and, consequently, a 5-star rating. ABS with EBD, six airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, ISOFIX child-seat anchor points, rear parking sensors, a rear camera, and TPMS are among the Nexon EV&#8217;s standard safety features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"19\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kia Syros<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kia Syros received 5-star safety ratings with 30.21 and 44.42 scores in Adult Occupant Protection and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. The entire petrol variant range of Kia Syros is eligible for this rating. The safety features of this model include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"20\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Skoda Kylaq<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>In the BNCAP crash test, the Skoda Kylaq compact SUV received a 5-star certification for both adult and child occupant safety. The small SUV from Skoda received a score of 45 out of 49 in COP and 30.88 out of 32 in AOP. Among the safety features offered across all versions are ESC, six airbags, 3-point seat belts with reminders for every passenger, and ISOFIX anchors for rear outboard seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"21\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mahindra XEV 9e<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This premium electric SUV offers outstanding performance and safety for everyday as well as highway driving. As per the Bharat NCAP, it is one of the safest EVs to date with a score of 32 in AOP, 45 in COP and a 5-star safety rating. The safety features of this model include ISOFIX, 6 airbags, rear disc brakes, reinforced body structure, TPMS, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"22\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mahindra BE 6<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This electric SUV offers a versatile city as well as highway usability with minimal compromise in occupant safety. It received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, with scores of 31.97 and 45 in adult and child occupant protection, respectively. The standard safety features of this model include TPMS, parking sensors, 6 airbags, a rear camera, driver-drowsiness detection, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"23\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mahindra Thar Roxx<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mahindra Thar Roxx received a 5-star rating with AOP and COP values of 31.09 and 45, respectively. This safety rating applies to every version of the five-door SUV. To keep both pedestrians and its occupants safe while travelling, the Thar Roxx complies with the AIS-100 pedestrian protection standards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It comes with six airbags and a passenger-side airbag cut-off switch as standard. All 3-point seat belts with reminders, ESC, and ISOFIX child seat anchor points are also available across the range. The AX5L and AX7L models come with an ADAS package, just like the XUV 3XO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"24\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mahindra XUV 3XO<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mahindra XUV 3XO received a 5-star safety rating in both adult and child safety by the Bharat NCAP. It scored 29.36 and 43 in Adult Occupant Protection and Child Occupant Protection, respectively. Although the test was performed on the MX2 and AX7 L variants, the safety rating applies to the entire lineup.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the standard safety features of this model are ESC, 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with reminders, a passenger-side airbag cut-off switch, and ISOFIX. Level 2 ADAS is also included in variants like AX5L and AX7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"25\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Nexon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This Tata SUV closely matches its EV variant in terms of safety performance, earning a 5-star rating from BNCAP. The Adult Occupant Protection score of this model is 29.41, and 43.83 is the Child Occupant Protection score. The standard safety features of this model include ESC, 6 airbags, ABS-EBD, and ISOFIX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"26\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Curvv<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside the Nexon, the Tata Curvv&#8217;s crash test results were also revealed. Similar to the small SUV, the coupe-SUV received five stars for both adult and child occupant protection. It received 43.66 points for COP and 29.50 points for AOP. In terms of safety, the Curvv comes standard with ABS with EBD, ESC, six airbags, hill-hold control, and ISOFIX child-seat anchor points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"27\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tata Curvv EV<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tata Curvv EV has received a 5-star rating for its adult and child safety.
