Tata Motors Launches the Updated Tiago EV<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Tata Motors launched the 2026 Tata Tiago EV in India recently, which starts at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated electric hatchback receives a slightly revised exterior design, an all-new cabin with more features and improved safety equipment, while retaining the existing battery options from before.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Tiago EV still retails among the cheapest electric cars in India and now looks more modern, along with being packed with features.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new Tata Tiago EV is available in multiple variants with two battery pack options.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Tata Motors<\/a> has also introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option for the Tiago EV, where prices start from Rs 4.69 lakh plus a battery usage charge per kilometre.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What\u2019s New in the 2026 Tata Tiago EV?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Styling changes for the updated Tiago EV are visible, inspired by Tata\u2019s newer EV models.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Exterior Updates<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Changes to the front design were also made, including a simplified EV-oriented appearance. The bumper design is new, and the connected-style LED tail lamp treatment at the rear makes the hatchback look more premium. Tata has also provided new alloy wheel designs and updated colour options.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    New Cabin and Features<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Inside, the 2026 Tata Tiago EV features an updated interior with a more premium-looking dashboard layout. The interior has been upgraded with a new floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as a redesigned digital instrument cluster, giving the hatchback a more modern look and feel. There is also a new steering wheel and updated centre console layout influenced by newer Tata cars.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    The updated Tiago EV gets new features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, cruise control, push-button start, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, as well as rear AC vents and auto-folding ORVMs. While Tata Motors has included some new technology and features in the car, important functions such as climate control still use physical controls, which should help in day-to-day usability by drivers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
