The Sierra has scored a 5-star rating for both adult and child occupancy. While the Sierra already has many qualities that make it a compelling offering in the mid-size SUV segment, the 5-star Bharat NCAP rating adds another feather to its cap. The Indian SUV had dummies of an 18-month-old baby and a 3-year-old baby, facing the rearward direction in the child occupant protection test. The 18-month-old child dummy scored 7.73 out of 8 points in the frontal crash test, while the 3-year-old dummy scored a full 8 out of 8 in the same test. Meanwhile, both dummies scored 4 out of 4 points in the side crash tests.
