This document helps ensure that the vehicle\u2019s RC transfer can be completed smoothly at the new RTO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Car Registration\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to change your car\u2019s registration from one RTO to another for any specific reason, you must get the NOC from the existing RTO in which your vehicle is registered.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Removing Hypothecation\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The consent form must be acquired from the bank after clearing the vehicle loan you had taken while purchasing the car. We will discuss each of these methods in detail now:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Online Method\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to obtain the NOC for RC transfer through an online process. The following steps will guide you for the same:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Visit the official website of Parivahan Sewa as we will be using this portal to apply for the NOC online.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> After opening this site look for the \u2018Online Services\u2019 tab. Choose it and then select the \u2018Vehicle Related Services\u2019 that will appear as one of the options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Now, you\u2019ll have to choose your state and enter your vehicle registration number in the designated field. To proceed further, you will have to choose the option of No Objection Certificate application link.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> This application form is also known as Form 28 as it is the official form to be used for obtaining the NOC in India. Fill the Form 28 form duly with all the details regarding your vehicle and state and RTO which you want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spinny.com\/rc-status\/\">transfer your RC<\/a> to.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 5: <\/strong>After filling the form correctly, you will have to submit some documents as well. So, you must also know how to obtain the NOC through offline means. The method to obtain the NOC through an offline method has been discussed below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Offline Method\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>For the offline method, you must visit the concerned RTO in-person along with the documents that we have discussed in the above section. After that, you can follow these steps to complete the application for NOC:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get the Form 28 from the RTO and fill it correctly. You will have to fill and submit 3 copies of this form and submit it with the aforementioned documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Also, the applicable fees need to be paid while submitting the documents. This fee is generally around Rs. 100. Do not forget to collect the payment receipt after submitting the fees.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The documents and form will be checked by the RTO directly and you\u2019ll be asked to submit any pending documents.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there are any legal issues such as pending challan, you\u2019ll be asked to clear that before providing the NOC. Here are some of the issues you\u2019ll have to face if you fail to get the NOC at the right time:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you drive a vehicle in another state for more than 12 months without an NOC, you will have to pay some fine imposed by the traffic inspector of that particular state. If you are found doing so on multiple occasions, you might have to face some legal actions as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ownership Transfer Issues\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are selling your vehicle to another person without an NOC, your RC transfer process may be halted. For that, you will have to follow these steps:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the Parivahan Sewa portal first and find the \u2018Online Services\u2019 tab.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, search for the \u2018Know Your Application Status\u2019 link. Click on it to proceed further.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your application number in the designated field. For that, you must save the application number that you will get after submitting the Form 28 and fees.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you enter the application number, you can click on the \u2018Check Status\u2019 button.
