While the Hyundai i20 N Line and Hyundai Venue N Line have already been on sale, the Hyundai Creta N Line is the most premium Hyundai N-Line product in India. As the standard Hyundai Creta is such a ground-breaking success, let’s dive in to learn what its sportier avatar is all about.

What is Hyundai N Line?

Carmakers across the globe have their respective subdivisions which specifically work on high-performance cars based on their mainstream cars. Some famous performance divisions include BMW’s M Performance, Mercedes-Benz’s AMG, and Jaguar Land Rover’s SVR. Similarly, Hyundai has its N-badged cars which are purely hyper-tuned performance cars, bordering on being complete sports cars. The N signifies Namyang R&D Centre in South Korea where Hyundai and its subsidiary automaker, Kia test their new vehicles.

N-Line models are also tuned by the Hyundai N division and are somewhat like N-badged cars. The sportiness of the N-Line cars mostly lies in some sporty cosmetic upgrades over the regular models and slightly sporty tuning of the powertrains.

Hyundai Creta N Line: Design, Interior, & Features

Given that the Creta is the best-selling Hyundai car, Hyundai has gone longer than it usually does to bring an N-Line version for this car. The Hyundai Creta N Line gets all-new and more pronounced front and rear bumpers, a different rectangular grille with silver inserts, and larger 18-inch alloy wheels. Also, at the rear, there is a prominent spoiler and twin exhaust tailpipes. On the inside, the sporty interior features a combination of black upholster and red accents on the dashboard, gear lever and seats, and metal pedals.

The feature list of the Hyundai Creta N Line is the same as that of the top variant of the standard Creta. It sports connected screens for a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Moreover, there are ventilated front seats, an 8-way powered driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charger, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera, and a dual-dash camera. On the safety front, the Creta N Line packs rear disc brakes, 360-degree cameras, a blind-spot monitor, a tyre pressure monitor, an electronic parking brake, Level 2 ADAS tech, six airbags and more as standard.

The Hyundai Creta N Line is available in three monotone and dual-tone colour options – Atlas White, Abyss Black, Titan Grey Matte, Thunder Blue with Abyss Black roof, Atlas White with Abyss Black roof, and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof.

Hyundai Creta N Line: Engine & Transmission

The Hyundai Creta N Line is powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine as that of the standard Creta. This engine generates 160 Ps power and 253 Nm torque and is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters. As per Hyundai’s claims, the Creta N Line can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds, and deliver mileage of 18.4 km/l (DCT automatic) and 18 km/l (manual). Moreover, being the sportier version, the Creta N Line gets a stiffer suspension for better handling, tweaked steering, and a tuned exhaust.

Hyundai Creta N Line: Prices &
