Almost as large as the Range Rover, the all-electric Korean&nbsp; SUV is set to make a revolutionising impact in the electric cars space in India. Moreover, the Kia EV9 is based on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) platform, which also underpins the Kia EV6 sold in India. As far as looks are concerned, the Kia EV9 is going to be quite a head turner, an overall squarish attire, with crisp lines, flat panels and a large glasshouse with a sharp kink beside the C-pillar. The front fascia sports a restyled brand\u2019s signature \u2018tiger nose\u2019 grille, with a blanked-out panel that sports LED light modules and a Z-shaped headlamp setup. Furthermore, the concept features a three-row layout where the second-row seats can be folded completely flat and the first row of seats can swivel around to create a lounge-like space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, some of these traits are going to be toned down for the production model. Feature-wise, the production model is expected to feature autonomous driving features, over-the-air software update compatibility, and feature-on-demand (FOD), where owners can buy just the specific functions they want.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kia-ev9-powertrain-amp-battery\">Kia EV9 Powertrain &amp; Battery<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The EV9 concept is equipped with a 77.4kWh battery pack, however, the official range is yet to be revealed. The Kia EV9 concept\u2019s E-GMP platform has an 800V electrical architecture which allows rapid charging at rates of up to 350kW. The&nbsp; battery pack can be charged from 10&nbsp; to 80 percent in just about 20 minutes.
